Stretch Goal Unlocked: Lair of the Mind Horrors

Our fourth stretch goal: "Lair of the Mind Horrors"
This stretch goal was SOOOOO much fun to prepare, and I'm super excited to share it with you! It includes an organic lair of some evil, Lovecraftian-inspired terrors that rule their dark kingdoms with cruel magic. Nicholas Hein (of Battle Boss Industries - more on that below) was an absolute wonder to work with, and I think together we came up with a set that will be bomb on the table!
This stretch goals is more terrain focused, but there's some epic minis too - including 2 ultra-detailed mind horrors, the mind horror telepathic brain (in resting and attack poses), and a pack of Gnolls to carry out their masters whims!
For terrain we have some slick organic DungeonSticks, and a complete set of themed items from Nicholas: including a power source, multiple nodes, an oxygen circulation unit, a containment chamber and a HUGE central brain pool! The telepathic brain fits inside the brain pool, but works on it's own as well. The containment chamber allows a mini to sit inside, and has an optional slit inside add plastic as a "tube" to imitate glass. I also created a summoning dais for some of the mind horrors dark rituals.
You can also download the newest "Organic Hive" DungeonSticks: Cavern sets from Thingiverse right now at THIS LINK.
----------------------------------------
I really enjoyed painting these, and it was very easy! I printed multiple pieces in translucent PLA, and the power source has a hole inside to set a tea light underneath to illuminate. I also printed one of the mind horrors in clear resin, painted the base, and washed it to make an invisible version of the mini, which I friggin love!
---------------------
I'm still working on test printing the huge brain pool, but it's looking amazing so far, and I had to include a render of it with the brain inside!

Community Artist Spotlight: Battle Boss Heavy Industries
Nicholas Hein of Battle Boss Heavy Industries works a ton in the cosplay community, but has a very healthy catalog of awesome STLs for tabletop gaming - ranging from EPIC Demogorgan minis, to hag huts made from giant skulls, and much more! As you can see, he contributed some amazing stuff to this Kickstarter, which will be for sale in his web store later but I'm thrilled to include as backer rewards in this Kickstarter. I can't stress enough how great and gracious Nicholas was, and you should ABSOLUTELY take a minute to check out his TLS in his web store on Etsy if you haven't seen it already!
Stretch Goal Unlocked: The Crystal Grotto

Our Third Stretch Goal - "The Crystal Grotto"
We're killing it! The Crystal Grotto is unlocked. This one is a an epic stretch goal, and includes some of my favorite minis in the campaign, including a deep faerie, an epic cave troll, and a HUGE FRIGGIN DRAGON. Yep - a dragon!
The cave troll is amazingly detailed - his loin cloth is sewn from dwarven skin (you can see the faces in it!). The dragon is epic as well - it's heavily scaled body is designed for navigating tunnels and flying through caverns. He'll be offered based and unbased, and will be keyed for easy printing on both FDM and SLA printers. The cave troll is also keyed for easy printing if needed. I don't have pics of it yet, but the Deep Faerie prints great in resin - I did it in translucent resin and am painting the body but leaving the wings transparent and adding a wash to make them see through! And tons of awesome crystal scatter for your adventurers to explore will set the scene, including a narrow rock bridge, pillars, clusters, and a mysterious runic circle.
You can also download the newest crystal grotto DungeonSticks: Cavern sets from Thingiverse right now at THIS LINK.
---------------------------
Here's a better/larger render of the "Dragon of the Depths"! Note that the wings are still getting worked on but the rest of the dragon, including the pose, is final. I'll be making a rocky base with crystals for it as well.

Here's a few painted up shots of stretch goal items that I had time to print/paint thus far.

Community Artist Spotlight: Mystic Realms
Mystic Realms excels at making cool terrain and scatter of all types! They have had a few successful Kickstarters, one of which was for a ton of different cavern pools and water features. I reached out to them before the KS and they graciously agreed to build the epic water feature model that's included in backer rewards. You can check out their full catalog on their website HERE and they also are offering an awesome 50% off coupon for backers that want to add any of their stuff to their gaming table to augment the Skyless Realms terrain (coupon code: "SkylessRealmsKS").
Stretch Goal Unlocked: The Mushroom Grove

Our Second Stretch Goal - "The Mushroom Grove"
No underground environ is complete without forests of mushrooms, and the strange folk who tend them. Here's everything you need to make your own mushroom groves! The mushroom clusters are print in two parts (cap/bottoms) and are interchangeable and resizable to your needs, the mushroom. The fungal column is split and keyed to print supporless and the branching mushroom is a 1-piece supportless print.
The myconids are fun to paint but i'm *REALLLLY* excited about the Myconid Behemoth. He turned out ammaaazzzing - the renders don't do him justice, just wait till I can get a printed/painted photo up. You can grab the new "DungeonSticks: Caverns - Mushroom Grove" files on Thingiverse HERE.

Community Artist Spotlight: Printed Obsession
Morgan Morey (aka Printed Obsession) busted on the tabletop scene recently with some amazing miniature sculpts. He has a styling I really enjoy and makes some very mean-looking baddies! He sculpted some of the spider-themed mutants and the dark elf arachnid for this campaign and all the pieces came out amazing. You can check out his work for sale on MyMiniFactory HERE - look for some awesome stuff coming soon from Morgan, you will not be disappointed! Here's a few pics/examples of his items:

Stretch Goal Unlocked: Black Lake
– Fri, Jan 11, 2019 at 10:00:21 AM
WOW what a great start! This is gonna be a fun ride! Thank you all for your support!
We blasted our way to the first stretch goal, which is The Black Lake - featuring a deep underground lake and all it's denizens! This post will set a format that I plan to replicate for future stretch goals - I will show all the new terrain and minis included, and the new DungeonSticks themed set (which will be released for free when each stretch goal is unlocked). Each update will also include a quick feature spotlight on one of the awesome contributing artists in the campaign.
*Stretch Goal Mistake* - I was in a daze the last few days after pulling an all nighter to get the KS live and I accidentally priced the next stretch goal (Mushroom Grove) higher than I had intended. SO, I marked it down to where I had originally planned. Didn't think anybody would have any objections, but just wanted to call it out in case it was noticed!
Our First Stretch Goal - "The Black Lake"
Very excited for our first stretch goal! This one is weighted a little more towards the minis side (that will be balanced in future stretch goals, I promise!). Take a look at all the new stuff and let me know what you think! You can grab the new "DungeonSticks: Caverns - Submerged" files on Thingiverse [HERE](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3337350#) right now.
Here's some pics of the items painted up! I did the Aboleth as a large creature (2x2" base) but wow would I love to see him huge and towering over the dock! There's more full-resolution pics in the main gallery [HERE](https://imgur.com/a/z2CV1Kf).

Community Artist Spotlight: Cast N Play
Cast N Play is relatively new in the 3D printing for tabletop gaming space, but making a big splash! (stretch goal related pun intended). They primarily work through their [Patreon Page](https://www.patreon.com/castnplay/posts) and are releasing all kinds of cool scatter, terrain, and minis. They designed the awesome Aboleth in this stretch goal, which will also be released to their Patrons, and we are thrilled they chose to join the fun in the Skyless Realms! Take a look at their stuff - below is a pic of what they released to their Patrons in Dec.
